Bathing in Letters!

Tonight Ryan's bath had added flare...instead of bathing in water we spiced it up by dumping letters and numbers in her bath. She tasted them as well...I wonder what the letters taste like? Of course, Tucker joined in on the fun after bath time was over.

Bonding with PawPaw

Since my parents are only an hour away, there have been several times that Ryan and I head over to their place for a few days. This past week we went to Grammy and PawPaw's for a few days. During our visit, PawPaw volunteered to watch Ryan (of which most of the time she was sleeping), however they had a few bonding moments. During one PawPaw watching, she spit up all over the pack-n-play and had to be cleaned up...and the other moment, well...the pictures below tell it all! She loves her PawPaw! :)

Yippee It's Almost Christmas!

Yippee it's almost here! Only 11 more days until Christmas...with that in mind we took a few pictures of two Santas we found in our house...Tucker loved every minute (not really, he was bribed with treats and kept scooting further away from Ryan).

Ryan's 4 months!

What a wonderful 4 months we have had! Ryan is such a joy and we are loving and savoring everyday with her. Now that we are a big 4 months old, she is beginning to interact with us more and more which is so sweet for us.

Ryan's Favorite Things:

1. Sleeping - this girl can SLEEP! When we were at the doctor we asked if babies could sleep too much; he then asked how long she is sleeping...I rattled off her schedule and then he replied by asking if we sold our soul to the devil! Obviously, we are blessed to have such a wonderful sleeper.

2. Squeaking and making funny sounds. This has been fun to listen to. I often sing to her and she chimes in with her own tune...it's precious.

3. Laying on her changing table and kicking along with waving her little arms around.

4. Eating her fingers and fist.

5. Laughing! We've only heard her really belly laugh one time and we are waiting for it to happen again! Her little laughs are priceless.

6. Kissing her mommy and daddy!! This is a new thing...I'm not sure I'd call it a kiss, but more like an open mouth lick! It is definitely a little wet, but so sweet. (I think she learned this from Tucker.)

7. Sucking her thumb!! Yeah!! I prayed for a thumb sucker and God heard my cry! I know it's weird, but there is nothing like the sound of hearing her sucking on that little thumb as she doses off to sleep...I love it!

8. Watching TV with her daddy. :) It keeps her attention for a long time...and is good cuddle time with her daddy.

9. Jumping in her Johnny Jump Up. I wouldn't say she jumps, but sits there and stomps her feet as she gnaws on her little fingers.

10. Spitting up! Constantly...without warning...enough said.

We are so thankful God has given us such a precious gift! Our family is so blessed! Ryan has brought us such joy...

Ryan's 3 Month Photo Shoot

She's cute, cuddley, chunky, and such a blessing to our family! Oh, how we love sweet Ryan Elizabeth! Here she is at 3 months. Thanks Erin for capturing our sweet little girl! (By the way, the leggings are some that mommy made! They are so cute on her chunky legs! Checkout those thighs!) The little white dress was one I wore as a little girl.

A Day of Play

It's so sweet to have dear friends that are in the same stage of life as you are. My dear friend Renee said it nicely, "It is so sweet to be planted in the same pot!" I loved that mental picture! Friends living life in the same stage of life...so precious!

Today, Ryan and I headed over to our dear friend Bronson and Renee's house to play! We ate lunch, drank coffee with delicious creamer, sat in front of the fireplace warming ourselves with the fire, and most of all enjoyed each other! We also captured a few pictures of Ryan and Bronson at play! Bronson is 6 weeks older than Ryan and they are sweet friends...it will be fun to watch them grow up together! How grand!!

Beary & Ryan

Beary came into my life in the first grade. He was given to me as a Christmas gift from Uncle Jack and since then Beary has captured my heart! He went everywhere with me, heard my secrets, wiped my tears when I was sad, stayed with me when I was scared, helped me stop sucking my thumb, and was my best friend! Here's to the stuffed animals, blankies, etc. that were part of our childhood...Ryan enjoyed wearing Beary's Pistol Pete outfit and he wore hers. How sweet...the first time they met...they were instantly friends! :)

Happy 3 Month B-Day

Happy Birthday Ryan Elizabeth! Today, November 6th, Ryan turned 3 months old...it was a wonderful day. We sang "Happy Birthday" and Ryan joined in with her own words, we went outside and enjoyed the 75 degree weather, went shopping, and saw Aunt Sherri and Aunt Lissy! It couldn't have been better! Oh, mommy also did a photo shoot of Ryan...here are a few. On Tuesday, Aunt E (Erin Conrad) is doing a for real 3 month photo shoot! Yippee!!

Sunday Stroll

It's November 1st and today's temperature was 79 degrees! What a beautiful day! This time of year simply makes me smile and to add to my happy heart was one of my favorite things...a walk with my family on this beautiful day! So, Ryan, Kris, and I headed to Riverside to stroll and take in all the beautiful fall colors. Tulsa truly is a beautiful place this time of year...here's to my sweet family, fabulous fall, and beautiful Tulsa!

What's brown and white and cute all over?

Ryan as a giraffe! Today my mom and I went to Pumpkin Town here in T-town and took some photos of sweet Ryan in her first Halloween costume! She was so cooperative. It was difficult to get pictures without her hands in or near her mouth, which is her new fascination. Either way, she was so precious and we had a fun time!

My Buddy, My Buddy, My Buddy & Me!

Ryan's little bath buddy...a doll we used to play with when we were little...I love it!! :) Ryan loves her baths, however she has started this new thing. When she is done, she's done! Her bath now ends with her crying...and not a little whimper, but a full blown expression of hatred! It's really cute...here is a pick of her after the fiasco is over. That bottom lip out...I've been told this is just the beginning of seeing that lower lip!

God is so good to give me my family, my hubby and Ryan Elizabeth! I love them!
