Ryan Laughs with Daddy

Last night, Kris and I were getting Ryan Elizabeth ready for bed...while doing so laughter broke out! She was giggling and having a good old time with her Daddy. It was precious and we want to share! Enjoy her sweetness!!

Remembering December...

I was uploading pictures of our Christmas in Stillwater and with my sweet family. I wanted to post a few of the pictures of my siblings, parents, and precious nephews/niece. I love you guys!

Ryan Loves Her Buddies!

During our stay in Tennessee last week, Ryan got to do a lot of firsts!

*Ryan rolled over for the first time in Tennessee

*She got fed by her cousin Hunter (age 3 1/2)

*Watched her first live basketball game! (Tyler & Cooper play Upward Basketball)

*She played in her first homemade fort!

All in all, Ryan enjoyed her time with her cousins and misses all the activity that was constantly going on around her! It was non-stop and very entertaining for her.

Snow! Snow! Snow!

Yippee! It's been snowing here all day! This afternoon we ventured out and let Ryan enjoy what she has been viewing from her exersaucer in front of the door throughout the day. She's enjoyed looking out the window and door at the snowflakes falling. It's captivated her attention! We bundled up our little snow bunny and headed out for a few minutes.

Her Name Is "Bigs"...

Growing up in our family we each had a nickname...and a song that went with it. I have fond memories of my dad singing my unique song to the tune of "Jingle Bells". It always made me smile and feel so special! This is one of my most favorite memories as a child...and still today I occasionally get to hear my song sung when visiting my parents.

When Ryan came into our family, it just happened...she got a nickname "Bigs" and a song was birthed as well! It's sung often in our home..."When mommy wasn't looking, baby got Bigs...when daddy wasn't looking, baby got Bigs...how'd you get so Bigs, how'd you get so Bigs!" Ryan seems to like it...and so do we!

So...if you were wondering why we call her "Bigs" this is a little background to her nickname. We love our sweet Bigs! She is so precious and we are truly addicted! God's gifts are good and perfect! :)

This is Ryan in a highchair for the first time! We were eating at Ted's and tried it out...she liked it! I was a little nervous that she might fall thru the front since she wasn't strapped in too well, but she didn't and enjoyed being a part of the dinner!

Ryan's Amateur Photo Shoot

Over our stay in Tennessee this past week, my sister and I took a few pictures of Ryan (more like 300 pictures), however just a few turned out the way we liked. Anyway, Ryan did great and we had a blast! So here are a few of the ones we like...

Ryan Rolled Over!!!

Yippee!! She did it; Ryan rolled over on Saturday, January 23rd and her Auntie (my sister Janette) and I got to see it happen...right before our very eyes!! It was so sweet. Ryan has yet to do it again, however it won't be long before it will be a regular occurrence. Anyway, the excitement happened during a little photo shoot that my sister and I were doing with Ryan, so we captured pictures of each stage of the rollover...
Her face in this last picture shows her stunned look...she wasn't quite sure what had happened and why we were cheering for her!

Generational Blessings!

Four generations...we are so blessed! I'm so thankful for the blessings that are being passed down from my parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents...and beyond! Having a legacy and heritage rich in the Lord is priceless...thank you to those who preceeded us...thank you for being an example for our lives and choosing to serve the Lord!
