Just Maybe...

I just love my Little Bigs! "Mama," she says. "Yes," I reply. Then what comes next we have yet to understand, however for her it's as clear as day as she proceeds to tell me something about something...time will tell. Ryan loves to talk, wear jewelry, talk on her phone as she holds it up to her ear with her shoulder and proceeds to multi-task, put on make-up, fix her hair, wear shoes, and carry a purse. The list continues...not sure where she gets it, but maybe she's just a little bit like me. :)

Ryan's Firsts in Review...

It's been a while since I've really spent some time uploading photos and updating our blog. As I was in this process I came across some fun pictures that I'm titling "Firsts". This past week has been so fun! It never ceases to amaze me all the activities that Ryan and I get in each week. We've been enjoying ourselves and having a blast doing so! This week was no different.

In review, this week we got to watch Baby Wade (4 weeks old) for the first time (I think ever that Alissa has left him with anyone other than daddy) and we got to give him his first bottle, which went beautifully! Ryan loves babies and kept pointing to his eyes, nose, ears, and everything else she could with such delight and joy! It was precious!

Ryan also discovered our Mr. Potato head (thanks to Auntie Janette and the Buddies). Of which, she attempted to wear his glasses, put his teeth in her mouth...she looked adorable!! And walked around the house with those little glasses on too! It was too cute (but don't we think everything she does is cute?).

Happy Meal!! Ryan's not ever had a McDonald's Happy Meal, but now she can check that off her bucket list! On our way to see Janette we stopped at McD's and she enjoyed her very first Happy Meal...and loved every single bit of it; fries, burger, apple juice, and at one stop her own chocolate milk (which is her fave). She almost ate everything in the box! And of course, the toys were a hit! This brought back such memories from my childhood. :)

"Bye bye poopoo. Bye bye peepee," says sweet Ryan each time she sees a potty or one being used! So, with her excitement I dug out the toddler potty for her to "practice" going to the bathroom. As of now all she does is sit on it and apply her lipgloss, play with a toy, or just talk to whoever is in the bathroom when she is. Regardless, we've sort of begun the process of potty training.

So, that's it in a nutshell. Ryan's firsts over the last few weeks.

It's Spring!

And are we ever so thankful! The weather has been gorgeous here in T-town and we continue to find ourselves outside enjoying the warm sun! Today was no different. Ryan Elizabeth and I headed out for a fun day of play, just here around the house. It was delightful!

She's a Toddler...

Well, it's official...Ryan Elizabeth is looking more and more like a toddler! She's walking everywhere and doing such a great job! And looking ever so natural. Her hair is really curly, she's talking up a storm! And such a big little girl! We've really enjoyed being outside with all the warm weather and I've been practicing with my new camera lens! Here are a few pics of the last week...there has been so much going on and I'll post on that soon.
