Cyclops Tooth Smile!

Ryan's been teething since the end of December and it's really not been that bad at all! She's not really that fussy, just chewing and biting on everything!!! The other day she took a chunk out of my shoulder...not funny for mommy, but she gave us a grin! Here are a few pictures from our afternoon outside...checkout that little "Cyclops Tooth Smile"! Little Bigs...

This morning Ryan Elizabeth was supposed to be napping in preparation for our fun packed day (going to daddy's office, lunch with Aunt Lissy, and grocery shopping), however she continued to roll over on her back and talk away! When I went in to flip her over she was so happy and energetic, so I had to take a minute to capture it on film. She loves her mobile and prior to filming she was screeching loudly in excitement! So adorable! So after this, she went right to sleep...what an exercise!

Girls' Night Girls...

Last night was our monthly Girls' Night out. We've been having this tradition of 7 years now (if I'm counting correctly). It's always the 2nd Thursday of the month and the 5 of us gather together for dinner, coffee, and fabulous talk time! Last night was Erin's (or we call her E) birthday, so she picked for us to eat downtown Tulsa on the rooftop of El Guapos. It was delightful! We could see the skyline of Tulsa and watched the sun set while enjoying our yummy food and great company. The new ballpark opened last night with its first game, so we walked to watch that thru the fence (we weren't able to get tickets - all sold out!)...we then headed for coffee and dessert on Cherry Street at Kilkenny's. Fabulous from start to finish!!

What a blessing it is to have these beautiful ladies in my life. We simply live life together...words can't express my gratitude for these dear friendships and what each one of these ladies mean to me. We are all there for each other, no matter what! That's what friends are for! Thank you girls of Girls' Night for a wonderful time last night and every month! I love each of you so much!

Swing Time

Yesterday Ryan and I went and got her an outdoor swing. She loves her pink swing!! We have been outside to enjoy this beautiful weather several times yesterday and today. Here are a few pictures of her outside...

Today after bath time, Ryan went down for a nap. I couldn't resist taking a few pictures of her cuteness. She was laughing, grabbing her toes, and enjoying her crib so much! She's the best!

Two days ago my sweet friend Renee and her son Bronson met Ryan and I at a local clothing store for an afternoon of shopping. Bronson and Ryan did a wonderful job of playing, while Renee and I looked around and tried on clothes. We took over the dressing room and enjoyed a few photo moments while we were there too. It was a delightful day with my dear friend and Mr. Bronson! We love you guys!! :)

Ryan's 8 Months Today!

This is the week of upgrades! Yesterday we gave Ryan Elizabeth her first sippy cup...she loved it! As of now, she doesn't quite get the leverage needed to actually get the juice out of the cup, but when Kris and I tried to help she let us know she has it under control. It was really cute. Whe then headed out with daddy for our evening stroll and some playtime with her daddy too. He can really make her giggle.

This morning we had baby rice cake sticks and those were gone in minutes...after breakfast we headed for bath time, her favorite...and then naked diaper!! Checkout those bottom teeth!! And that's not all...she's cutting 4 top teeth (of which we can see 3). It's so sweet when she smiles so big and shows them off.

Being a native Oklahoman, wheat fields as far as the eye can see, open plains, and rolling hills are just all part of this beautiful state! Today, Easter Sunday, we headed out to Goltry, OK (west of Enid) and visited Kris' grandmother and sweet family. While there, we took a minute to do a photo shoot of Ryan Elizabeth...I just loved this view directly across from Grandma's house. There is something attractive about country living. Maybe the simplicity, slower pace of life, and good old roots make the difference and draw you in. But every time we head out to that part of the state, we enjoy the scenery...and we hope you do too!

Ryan's First Easter Egg Hunt

This morning the weather could not have been more perfect for Ryan & Tatum's first Easter Egg Hunt! We dolled up Ryan Elizabeth and headed out to her first Easter Egg hunt. It was so much fun!! Checkout our adventure with "The Girls" and our friends Tory & Sonya. We had a blast!!

Easter Surprise...

Tonight we had a wonderful surprise arrive at our home! Yippee, it's a highchair for Ryan Elizabeth! We've been needing one for some time now...when it arrived we had no idea who it was from. After opening the box and setting it up we read a sweet card inside which said, "We just wanted to bless you...Baby Ryan needs an upgrade! Have a Happy Easter...We love you all!!!" - Uncle Paul, Auntie, & The Buddies. Ryan sat in her new highchair for about 45 minutes, played with her Easter basket and eggs until it was time to eat! We love it!! Thank you so much Auntie and crew!! :) Ya'll are the bestest!! (Checkout Ryan's painted toes!)

Outside!! Ryan's first choice...

Yesterday it was beautiful!! First thing in the morning we headed outdoors to enjoy the gorgeous weather...it was a little windy, but simply delightful! Ryan watched Tucker run around the yard and enjoyed hearing the birds chirp and all that comes with outside. She loves it! When then came inside and played...her favorite toy right now are our old cell phones and my cell phone rubber case! Maybe this is a sign of what's to come...phone talker? Perhaps...time will tell.
