Beautiful Day
This afternoon was so beautiful here in T-town, so Ryan and I headed outside after her nap to enjoy the weather, go for a short stroll (with her stroller, of course), while I played around with my camera. Here's what was captured!

Happy 18 Months Ryan!
Today, Ryan Elizabeth is 18 months old! What a wonderful 18 months it has been having her in our lives. She is such a gift and joy from above and daily we thank the Lord for her being born into our family. At 18 months Ryan enjoys playing and bouncing in her oversized chair, talking almost every waking moment and singing too. Her favorite words are baby, puppy, bye, hi, bah (bath), and shoe to name a few. Each night when we put her to bed or at naptime she always says "bye" I guess that is her way of saying goodnight. One of her favorite foods is bananas and yogurt. She also enjoys playing with Tucker much to his dislike and finds creative ways to put his collar on his head, back, or just knees around holding it in her hands. Often when Kris or I are laughing she does a fake laugh herself to chime in, which is so cute and she's never bashful about clapping for herself after walking or doing something funny. One thing Ryan is great at is being polite. She routinely says "thank you" and the other day after I sneezed she said "bless you" twice in her own sweet way! There are so many precious things she does and says that it's hard to put in writing, but one thing we know, she is a treat and brings a smile to our faces daily. We love you Ryan Elizabeth!
Happy Birthday Grandpa!
This weekend we celebrated Grandpa's b-day! Kris' family came to town and we kicked off the celebration with pizza and then headed back to the house for yummy cake, coffee, and ice cream. Ryan loves her Grandpa & Grandma and is always excited to see her Uncle Matthew and Aunt Heidi too. We had a wonderful time and are so blessed to have such wonderful family. Happy Birthday Jay! We love you! :)

If The Shoe Fits...
Ryan Elizabeth loves shoes! Perhaps this is a sign of things to come...so today as she was playing in her room she came across my childhood shoes; the ones I learned to walk in as a toddler. She sat down and began trying them on...it was so cute. She also loves jewelry, headbands, rings, and anything else she can put on her wrists, head, or around her neck! She's definitely all girl!

Cabin Fever? She's Got It!
So today is day #2 of being snowed in T-town and tomorrow looks to be yet another day snowed in. Kris shoveled the drive (it took him the afternoon to do so) and it's not completely finished! There is so much SNOW!! It's been nice having Kris home and our sweet family time, however we are getting a little cabin fever. Tonight Ryan was going CRAZY in her chair and for over 5 minutes! She's got some energy! It's amazing how she entertains herself (my headband around her head as one way). I'm thinking she needs to get out and run around or something!! Oh yeah, did we say that she is walking a lot more now? Still hesitant, but she's doing it solo! Way to go Little Bigs!

Hideaway Ranch
Last week during our mini family reunion, we went to a wonderful place in Bluff Dale, TX and stayed in cabins. It was fabulous!!! And we'd highly recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet place to get away! They had horses, llamas, pigs, longhorn cattle, archery, and much more! Anyway, Ryan really enjoyed her time out there too...I truly believe there is a cowgirl in my little city slicker!
