It's All About Style!

Seriously, can she be any sweeter? Aunt Lissy gave this cute hat to Ryan Elizabeth along with the hedgehog outfit she is strutting. Dionne made the hat (and she does some of the cutest things, checkout her blog to the left "Lovey Dovey") and I couldn't resist!!! Love her!!

Go Pokes...Ryan Elizabeth Cheers with Daddy

As many of you know, Kris and I met at Oklahoma State University so cheering for our Cowboys is just what we Tulsa Jantzens do (Kris' side of the family are all OU fans, so we have to specify). Anyway, when OSU played their first game Kris had a new companion to enjoy the games with! Kris taught Ryan the techniques and strategies of football and on one occasion we caught Ryan yawning...regardless, she still loves watching football with her daddy! :)

Ryan loves her little monkey. And to be honest, I think her little chubby cheeks resemble the little guy.

There are countless times that I look at my sweet baby and am amazed at how beautiful and precious she is!! How can anyone be so cute? Being a mom is better than I could have imagined and I'm certainly enjoying it more than words can express...

Girl's Guthrie Get-Away

This past weekend, Alissa, Dionne, and myself headed to Guthrie, OK for a Girl's Get-Away! We had a wonderful time dining out, antique shopping, playing Nerts, drinking coffee, eating chocolates, and just being girls! We stayed downtown at a suite that is above the antique shops. The building was built in 1901 and had such character! Ryan Elizabeth even enjoyed her time with the ladies. Here are a few pics capturing our weekend!

"Rubber Tucky You're The One..."

"You make bath time so much fun!" Yesterday, Ryan upgraded from taking her baths in the kitchen sink to the big girl bath tub where there is more room to kick, splash, and play. With that comes the excitement of bath toys...however, who needs toys when you can get a bath buddy named Tucker! He even helped in cleaning off her soap bubbles...what a great bath friend!

Spa Treatment...

Ryan has a bib that says, "Mommy and me doing the girl thing...manicure, pedicure, make-up, and hair". It was inevitable, the day has came for Ryan to experience her first spa treatment, so she joined Alissa and I for a pedicure...she slept thru most of it! (hee hee)

Ryan's First Road Trip

The first week in September, Kris and I decided to head out to Chattanooga, TN to visit my sister and her three boys (aka "the buddies") so Ryan could meet her cousins and Auntie "M". Ryan did a wonderful job in the car going and coming, we could not be more proud of her!!

While in TN we did so many wonderful things: Ate Ben & Jerry's ice cream, grilled out, played outside, went on walks, watched the buddies fed and play with Ryan, and simply enjoyed being with my sister and her family. So, here you have some of our most favorite moments from the trip.

My Grandparents...

It's funny how now that Ryan Elizabeth has joined our family, we are seeing more of her grandparents...it's not about Kris and I anymore...it's all about the little one! This past weekend, Ryan got to see her Grandma (Karen), Grandpa (Jay), Grammie (my mom), and PawPaw (my dad) along with Uncle Matthew. She loved it!! We had a cookout on Sunday with Grammie and PawPaw and also they all got a chance to feed her during their visits. That was a treat for Ryan!

We love our Ryan Elizabeth! Erin came over on two occasions to capture these moments with little Ryan. We had a great time photographing her and creatively capturing her life on camera and making memories of doing so. Ryan decided to empty her bladder when being photographed on the rocking chair and then on her daddy...oh, did we mention she also did #2 on her daddy too? It was definitely a moment...initiation for daddy into parenting. Anyway, here are a few of our favorites.
